Abstract

Food sovereignty is the right to define Food Systems, prioritizing local markets, socio-biodiversity and sustainability. It presents itself in opposition to and as an alternative to the Industrial Agro-Food System. From this perspective, we list the existence of the Interinstitutional Agroecological Fair, which takes place since 2019 in partnership with family farmers in the State of Goiás and Public Institutions of Higher Education in Goiânia - GO. In 2020 and 2021, given the context of the coronavirus pandemic, there was an adaptation to the virtual format with technical assistance for the development of the Marketing System, through the Information and Communication Technologies, Democracy and Social Movements Project. The objective of the research is to describe the construction process of the Commercialization System of the Interinstitutional Agroecological Fair and its intersection with food sovereignty. The construction was collaborative, horizontal and democratic with the experiences of popular and scientific knowledge. And it culminated in the official website, using the Wordpress platform, with open code and free features. A subdomain has been provided for hosting the website. The Commercialization System of the Interinstitutional Agroecological made operationalization more resolute, transcending the economic-mercantile bias in the reaffirmation of socio-political consumption and socio-productive inclusion for food sovereignty.
