Professor of the Graduate Program in Information Science at UNESP, Campus de Marília. Graduated in Mathematics and Pedagogy, Master in Information Science (2002), Doctorate in Information Science (2008) and Professor in Management Information Systems at UNESP (2017). He has specializations in Object Orientation (1996) and Information Systems Management (1998). Ad hoc expert of periodicals and development agencies. Leader of the Research Group - Data Access Technologies (GPTAD) and member of the Research Group - New Technologies in Information GPNTI. He has experience in the field of Computer Science, currently conducting research focusing on: information science and information technology, investigating issues related to the Data Life Cycle, Transparency and the Informational Flow in Productive Chains. He worked as a professor at Faccat Faculty of Accounting Sciences and Administration in Tupã, where he coordinated a Business Administration course with a specialization in Systems Analysis for ten years and the Computer Science course. He worked in the private sector as a consultant, integrator and researcher of new information technologies from 1988 to 2011.

Ada Cristina Machado Silveira

Full Professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria and researcher at CNPq (Pq2). He holds a degree in Journalism from Vale dos Rio dos Sinos University (1982), holds a Masters degree in Periodisme i Ciències de la Comunicació - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (1998), a master's degree in Rural Extension from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1992), Doctorate in Journalism - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2000) and post-doctorate at the Sorbonne III - La Nouvelle (France). Visiting professor at Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (Argentina, 2013) and Universidad Nacional del Este (Paraguay, 2016). Elected head of the Department of Communication Sciences (2005-2012), she served as the first coordinator in the implementation of PPG Communication of UFSM (2005-07) and was substitute coordinator of PPG Rural Extension (2003-2005) of the same institution. She works in the Master's degree in Communication and creative industry at Unipampa. Coordinated the CAPES-MINCYT agreement (2013-15) and the Capes New Talent Program at UFSM (2011-14). She has experience in the area of Media Communication, working mainly in the following subjects: media and identity, media representations, scientific and technological diffusion, communication for development, communication policies and journalism. She has published 71 articles in specialized journals and 170 papers in proceedings of events in Portuguese, Spanish and English. It has 86 chapters of books, 6 books published and organized 21 works, in addition to 6 Prefaces or Presentations. It has 4 processes or techniques and 350 other technical production items. Participated as host, coordinator of tables and/or invited 33 events abroad (USA, Canada, Scotland, China, Russia, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Uruguay) and more than a hundred in Brazil. He has supervised 7 doctoral theses, 24 master's dissertations and 6 postdoctoral tutorials, in addition to having conducted 5 monographs of specialization, 35 scientific initiation works and 68 course completion papers. Received 11 awards and / or honors. Between 1988 and 2015 he coordinated / participated in 35 research projects. He currently coordinates 3 research projects and one development project. In his professional activities, she interacted with 370 collaborators in co-authorship of scientific works. In his curriculum Lattes, the most frequent terms in the contextualization of scientific, technological and artistic-cultural production are communication sciences, semiotics, discourse, journalism, ICTs, communication policy, identity representation, frontier lands, scientific dissemination. Alfredo Bonini Neto - UNESP - São Paulo State University, Brazil

Graduated in Mathematics (Licenciatura Plena) at Faculdade de Dracena - UNIFADRA, (2002), Master in Electrical Engineering from São Paulo State University - UNESP at Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira - FEIS, Ilha Solteira (2006). He completed his doctorate in June 2011 through the Postgraduate Program in Electrical Engineering, concentration area - Automation, research line - Electric Power Systems, at UNESP, Ilha Solteira. Completed the Post-Doctorate in 2013 in the area of Electrical Engineering UNESP - Ilha Solteira with research in electrical power systems and mathematical parameterization techniques for solving non-linear equation systems in order to obtain the critical point and eliminate the singularity of the Jacobian matrix . He is currently Assistant Professor of the UNESP - Campus of Tupã in the set of disciplines of Analytical Geometry, Linear Algebra, Numerical Calculus and Mathematics Applied to Biosystems Engineering. He is working with research in the area of Optimization, Continuation Methods (Parameterization Techniques) and Intelligent Computer Systems applied to Engineering (Fuzzy Logic and Artificial Neural Networks).

 

Ana Carolina Simionato - UFSCar - Federal University of São Carlos , Brazil

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Library Science from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho – UNESP (2010), master’s degree (2012) and PhD (2015) in Information Science (Research line “Information and Technology”) from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho – UNESP. As of 2015, she is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Information Science at Federal University of São Carlos – UFSCar within the Postgraduate Program in Information Science – PPCGI/UFSCar and the degree in Library and Information Science – BCI/UFSCar. She leads the research group “Data and Metadata” and collaborates with the research groups “Information and Knowledge organization and representation in pictorial resources" and “New Technologies in Information”. Currently, she exercises the function of Coordinator of the Coordinating body of Scientific and Technological Initiation Programs (CoPICT). She has experience in metadata, cataloguing and archival description and museology, conceptual modelling (FRBR, FRAD and FRSAD) and audiovisuals. Cristian Berrío-Zapata - UFPA - Federal University of Pará, Brazil

Adjunct Professor at Archiving Faculty and Coordinator of the Postgraduate program in Information Science at Institute for Applied Social Sciences (ICSA), Federal University of Pará (UFPA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Pontifical Xavierian University in Colombia, specialization in Technology Management and Competitivity from Pontifical Xavierian University in Colombia. He has a Diploma on Management Research from Rouen Normandy University in France, holds a master’s degree in Administration from the National University of Colombia and a PhD in Information Science from Sao Paulo State University (UNESP). He researches, within Information and Communication Technology strategic Management, issues related with discourse and power from Critical perspective in the area of digital divide, gender digital divide, electronical Government (e- Government) and Community Informatics applied to the public health field and family farming. He has experience in methodologies of Domain analysis, Bibliometric, Psychometrics, Case Study and Content Analysis. He develops research projects about Critical Perspective in Information Science, Gender Digital Divide measurement, Behavior, Politics and ICT Mediation, Dengue epidemies from the informational point of view, and Mediation of Technology Appropriation in university students.

 

Elaine Parra Affonso - FATEC - São Paulo State Faculty of Technology, Brazil

PhD Candidate in Information Science at Sao Paulo State University (UNESP/Marília) with the Postgraduate Program in Information Science (PPGCI). She holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from Fundação Eurípides Soares da Rocha (UNIVEM/Marília). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Data Processing Technology from Sao Paulo State Technological College (FATEC) – Extension Ourinhos; a licentiate degree in Informatics from Catholic University of Brasília (UCB/Brasília) and a Specialization in Applied Quantitative Methods from Faculdades Adamantinenses Integradas (FAI/Adamantina). Currently, she is a professor at Sao Paulo State Technological College in Presidente Prudente (FATEC), in the degree Analysis and Development of Systems and Business Management. She works in the area of Information Science and Computer Science, with an emphasis on Information Systems, Management, Information Technology Management and Government, focused mainly on the following topics: Privacy and Data Anonymization.

 

Elvio Gilberto da Silva - USC - UNISAGRADO, Brazil

He holds a degree in Systems Analysis from Sagrado Coração University (1999), a master’s degree in Computer Science from Centro Universitário Eurípides de Marília (2004), a PhD in Agronomy (Energy in Agriculture) from Sao Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2009) and a Post-Doc in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Sao Paulo –Hospital for Rehabilitation of Cranio-Facial Anomalies. He currently works as an adjunct professor at Sagrado Coração University, where he coordinates two courses: Lato Sensu Postgraduate Course in Software Engineering and Government and Management in Information Technology (GGTI). He already instructed in the following institutions: Associação Educacional Nove de Julho (UNINOVE) and Anhanguera Educacional. He has experience in the area of Computer Science, with an emphasis in Software engineering. His primary research lines are Information and Communication Technology in Educational processes, Artificial intelligence, networks and distributed systems and applied computing. Maria Elisabete Catarino - UEL - Londrina State University, Brazil

She holds a PhD in Technologies and Information Systems from the University of Minho (Portugal, 2009) and a master's degree in Information Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (1999), as well as a specialization in Information Management in S & T Information Units (1997) and a degree in Library Science from the State University of Londrina (1992). She is Assistant Professor of the Department of Information Science at the State University of Londrina; she held the position of Director of the University Library System. In the academic administrative area, she held positions of department heads, CA members, evaluation commissions and competitions, among others. She is a consultant AdHoc in the triennial evaluation of the postgraduate programs in the area of Communication and Information CAPES. She worked in the Department of Information Science in the undergraduate courses in Archivology and Librarianship, specialisation in Management of School Libraries, in the Professional Master in Information Management and the Master in Information Science. She is a lawyer by the National University of Cordoba (UNC) and holds a PhD in Political Science at the Center for Advanced Studies (CEA-UNC), as well as a master’s degree in Environment and Sustainable Development with guidance in Environmental Education from the National University of Quilmes. She is a specialist in Environmental Education (FUNIBER). She is a PhD at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) and a professor of the course "Professional Ethics" of the bachelor’s degree in Environment and Renewable Energies of the National University of Villa María, and "Environmental Law" at the University of the 21st century ascribed to the Constitutional and Environmental Law of Natural Resources (UNC) of Environmental Management (UNVM ). She coordinates the Master's Degree in Law and Argumentation from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (UNC). She coordinates and is a member of the research group "Permanent Seminar on Environmental Law" of the Center for Legal and Social Research of UNC. SHe holds a Master's degree from the Graduate Program in Rural Extension by the Federal University of Santa Maria, researching the subject of the internet in the middle rural, through the analysis of the use and appropriation of the internet by rural producers. She holds a degree in Cooperative Management from the Federal University of Viçosa and a degree in Business Administration from SENAC Porto Alegre Faculty, working on strategic planning topics in third sector organizations. Jacquelin Teresa Camperos Reyes - UNESP - São Paulo State University, Brazil

She is a PhD Student in Information Science at the Sao Paulo State University "Júlio Mesquita Filho" - UNESP / Marília-SP and holds a master’s degree in Information Science from the Sao Paulo State University "Júlio Mesquita Filho" UNESP / Marília-SP, she is also a specialist in Higher Management at the Universidad Libre, Cúcuta -Colombia, with a degree in Systems Engineering from UFPS, Cúcuta-Colombia. She was a scholar fellow of the OAS-Coimbra Group of Universities of Brazil. Her teaching experience focuses on database modelling at UFPS (Colombia), Analysis and Development of Information Systems at SENA National Learning Service (Colombia). Experience in the formulation of applied research projects at SENA (Colombia). She is an evaluator of the REDCOLSI Colombian Research Seminar Network and holds a certificate in Labor Competence to Integrate ICT in the Teaching Processes by SENA. She has experience in processes of implantation and management of information systems focused on billing and statistics for health institutions, and information management of the Social Security System. João Arlindo dos Santos Neto - UNESP - São Paulo State University, Brazil

He holds a PhD and master's degree in Information Science from the Postgraduate Program of Sao Paulo State University 'Júlio de Mesquita Filho' (UNESP), Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences, Campus de Marília, in the Research Line: Management, Mediation and Information Use. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Librarianship from the State University of Londrina (UEL). He was a PhD fellow of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) from 03/2017 to 04/2017. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Information Science Department at UEL. At the same institution, he worked in the undergraduate and postgraduate studies (lato sensu), from 02/2015 to 02/2017 as the Internship Coordinator of the Archivology course, and he is a member of the Teaching Commission of the same Department and the Structuring Teaching Nucleus ( NDE) of the courses in Archivology and Librarianship. In the scope of teaching, he has supervised specialisation monographs, scientific initiation, course completion work and compulsory and non-compulsory curricular internships. She holds a Master's degree from the Graduate Program in Information Science, from the State University of Londrina (UEL) in 2014 with the dissertation titled "The Dark Web and its Non-places: by a Study of the Invisible Folds of Cyberspace." She holds a specialisation in "Management of University Libraries" from UEL in 2010. She holds a degree in Librarianship since 2008 also from UEL. She taught at UEL from 2011 to 2014 in the degrees of Archivology, Librarianship and Executive Secretariat. At UEL as well, she was the Coordinator and Vice-coordinator of Internship of the Course of Archivology and Coordinator of Work of Conclusion of Course of the same degree. Since 2015, she participates as a collaborator in the Research Project "Knowledge Graph and Google, index or encyclopedia?: by a semantic approach of the contemporary indexes," coordinated by Profa. Dr Silvana Drumond Monteiro from UEL. Since 2014, she also participates as a collaborator in the Research Project "Information, memory and society" coordinated by Prof. Dr Ricardo Medeiros Pimenta of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT). Her current research focuses on cyberspace, ICTs, the organisation of information and knowledge on the web, as well as the anthropological concept of Non-Places by Marc Augé and Bauman in virtual environments.

Jacquelin Teresa Camperos Reyes

She is a PhD Student in Information Science at the Sao Paulo State University "Júlio Mesquita Filho" - UNESP / Marília-SP and holds a master’s degree in Information Science from the Sao Paulo State University "Júlio Mesquita Filho" UNESP / Marília-SP, she is also a specialist in Higher Management at the Universidad Libre, Cúcuta -Colombia, with a degree in Systems Engineering from UFPS, Cúcuta-Colombia. She was a scholar fellow of the OAS-Coimbra Group of Universities of Brazil. Her teaching experience focuses on database modelling at UFPS (Colombia), Analysis and Development of Information Systems at SENA National Learning Service (Colombia). Experience in the formulation of applied research projects at SENA (Colombia). She is an evaluator of the REDCOLSI Colombian Research Seminar Network and holds a certificate in Labor Competence to Integrate ICT in the Teaching Processes by SENA. She has experience in processes of implantation and management of information systems focused on billing and statistics for health institutions, and information management of the Social Security System. Currently, she is a member of the Digital Skills for Family Farming Project CODAF of UNESP of Tupã-SP, as well as a researcher of the Research Group New Technologies in Information GPNTI of UNESP of Marília-SP, in the line Information and Technology, the Open Data and Data Representation topics in the governmental domain.

 

Paloma Marín Arraiza

She is a PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Information Science (PPGCI) of Sao Paulo State University (UNESP-Marilia). Her research is developed in the research line “Information and Technology” with a focus on Enhanced Publications, Open Science and Semantic Technologies. She holds a licentiate degree in Physics (European Qualifications Framework 7 – equivalent to a master’s degree) from the University of Granada (Spain) (2013) and a master’s degree in Scientific Information and Communication (2014) from the same university. During her licentiate degree, in the school year 2010-2011, she did an exchange at Free University of Berlin funded by the ERASMUS Programme. During her master’s degree, she carried out research activities for the master’s thesis at UNESP in Marilia as visiting student in PPGCI. She worked in the German National Library of Science and Technology (Technische Informationsbibliothek, TIB) in the area of non-textual materials development. Her main focuses were Linked Open Data, Content/Data Mining, Video Identification e Science Communication. She also worked on grants writings and third parties funding proposals for German and European funding projects.

She holds a master's degree Postgraduate Program in Information Science - research line: Information and Technology by the Sao Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho - Câmpus de Marília. She holds a degree in Business Administration from the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2014) - Tupã Campus. She collaborated in studies on Management and Environmental Education, as well as in research and extension projects (Scientific Initiation and Environmental Education Network of the High Paulista - REAP). Diana Vilas Boas Souto Aleixo

She is a PhD student in the Graduate Program in Information Science, São Paulo State University (UNESP - Marília). She holds a Master’s degree in Information Science (2014) and a degree in Archivology from the State University of Londrina (2003). She collaborates in the Digital Competencies for Family Farming Project (CoDAF) since 2016, and she is an editor of the Electronic Magazine Digital Competencies for Family Farming (ReCoDAF). She teaches in undergraduate courses in Archivology, Library and Executive Secretariat, and Specialization in the Department of Information Science of the State University of Londrina; and works as an independent consultant in the management and organisation of archives.
